When requesting XRT support if you don't have a specific request for filter combinations the advice from Ed DeLuca (XRT PI) is to choose one of the following:
1-2 filters high cadence; limited FOV. Maintaining a high cadence is most important.
4-7 filters; modest cadence. Temperature coverage is most important, note that XRT can constrain the high temperature components of energetic events more easily than EIS, but this requires a thick filter.
Long and short exposures with larger FOV. Tracking magnetic connections is most important.
